Diagnostic: Faulty TCM. TCM is responsible for controlling the transmission’s shifting mechanism, and when it fails, it can cause problems such as rough shifting, unable to shift into certain gears, sudden loss of power, and in some cases, complete transmission failure.
Action: Replace the faulty TCM and program the newly installed TCM.
